The original intention was to integrate the artistic and cultural resources of the Miaobei living circle, enhance the local humanistic quality and artistic atmosphere, and also focus on promoting local characteristic culture to the international stage, while appropriately introducing cross-strait and international artistic and cultural exchanges, making Miaoli County a happy place to enjoy cultural life. The "Miaobei Arts and Cultural Center" is a modern building with 5 floors above ground and 2 floors below ground, with a total building area of 0.9255 hectares. The Miaobei Arts and Cultural Center is positioned as a "county-level" performance venue. The main spaces are planned as a concert hall (1090 seats), an experimental theater (230 seats), an audio-visual center, an outdoor performance area, an art exhibition area, and studios for resident artists. Its development function is suitable for various types of domestic and international music, drama, and dance performances, as well as exhibitions, training, and large gatherings. Since the essence of art and culture not only encompasses visual and auditory artistic performances but also the audience's personal experience of participating in artistic and cultural activities, the future operational policy of the Miaobei Arts and Cultural Center will focus on "operational management" and "event production" to integrate local cultural and creative industry resources and strengthen group exhibitions.
