Its northern boundary is the ridgeline between Bian Guyan Mountain and Leshan Mountain, its eastern boundary is the upper reaches of the Dajia River, and its western boundary is. Shei-Pa National Park is characterized by numerous high mountains and magnificent scenery, with an elevation difference of over 3,000 meters. Centered around Snow Mountain, multiple mountain ranges radiate outwards, with distant mountain ridges winding and stretching in distinct layers, showcasing a towering terrain. Among these, Snow Mountain and Tapaijien Mountain are the most representative. Snow Mountain, at 3,886 meters, is the highest point of the Snow Mountain Range and Taiwan's second-highest peak. It is known as one of the "Five Great Mountains of Taiwan" along with Yushan, Nanhu Mountain, Xiuguluan Mountain, and Beidawu Mountain. The "Taiwan Prefecture Records" named it Snow Mountain because "its accumulated snow is clear and bright, shining white like jade when viewed on a clear day." Tapaijien Mountain, at 3,492 meters, is renowned as the "Peak of the Century" for its magnificent appearance and is known as one of the "Three Great Peaks of Taiwan" along with Central Peak Mountain and Dafeng Mountain.
