The main purpose of its establishment is to promote organic rice cultivation and let the public understand that rice is not easily obtained and should be cherished. Shanshui Rice Organic Farm is a hope workstation that Shanshui Rice Company began to establish in the Yuanli area of Miaoli in 2004 to promote organic rice cultivation. In 2006, the Guan Shu Education Foundation officially became a member of this hope project, responsible for the promotion of environmental education.
