Shenxian Valley. Shenxian Valley, located in Nanzhuang Township, 2 kilometers before Lucchang, is situated at the confluence of the Fengmei and Biling rivers. It is the most distinctive feature of the Lucchang scenery. However, due to the steep riverbed of Shenxian Valley, which poses a risk of danger, it was closed many years ago and a trail was planned and built by the management office of the Shanshan National Scenic Area. The wooden sleeper and gravel trail, built with ecological engineering methods, allows visitors to safely approach the stream for sightseeing and admire the beautiful and mysterious charm of Shenxian Valley. The suspension bridge with an Atayal flavor has also been rebuilt. The beautiful mountain valley stream scenery isolates the summer heat of the city. Breathing in the full phytoncide and moist air, listening to the gurgling water, and feeling the gentle mountain breeze, what could be more enjoyable! Shenxian Valley has a very open landscape and is divided into upper and lower layers. The rock bed in the upper layer is not long, and the rushing stream has carved many grooves in the rock bed, forming beautiful patterns. The lower layer is about 30 meters lower than the upper layer and consists of 6 to 7 rock steps. The water pours down from above, dividing into multiple rushing waterfalls, forming a 2-meter deep pool at the bottom of the waterfall, which is cool and clear. The suspension bridge is 150 meters long and connects to the Shimen Trail on the opposite bank, allowing visitors to walk all the way to Shimen. Standing on the bridge and looking out, the upstream is the vast Shenxian Valley, and the downstream is a deep green stream valley. The scenery is different but equally stunning.
