The second generation, brothers Li Ming-jie, Li Zhao-qing, and Li Zhao-chun, established Jing Long Kiln, which has now passed to the third generation, cousins Li Jin-ming and Li Rong-guo. They still follow tradition, with hand-thrown and sculpted pieces as their main products. The decorative ceramics industry that emerged in the 1970s almost replaced traditional pottery. Coupled with the impact of industrial transformation in recent years, traditional pottery has found it difficult to survive. To ensure the sustainable operation of the family kiln business, they have actively sought breakthroughs and innovation. Jing Long Kiln, which started with traditional water vats and wine jars, has now transformed to create modern, appealing lotus jars, and has incorporated Hakka elements into uniquely designed tableware, elegant ceramic lamps, and more.
