From the farm, you can overlook the service area, which is known as the most beautiful in the country, and gaze at the West Coast. At night, the scenery becomes even more captivating, with the bustling traffic on the highway, the crowds at the service area, the twinkling fishing boats on the sea, and the lights of the villages, all accompanied by the chirping of insects and birds within the farm, creating a breathtaking panorama. The beauty of Xihu is fully displayed here. The reason for naming it 'Rural Legend' is that, apart from pomelo trees that had been planted for nearly twenty years, the rest was originally a wasteland. Nine years ago, my spouse and I had the idea to tidy it up. From clearing the land to construction, every plant, every stone within the farm has been meticulously managed by our entire family through collective effort. Over the years, it has brought us together and has become our most beautiful dream, hoping that one day it will become a legend in this countryside. The richness of the ecosystem is a feature of the farm, with crickets, butterflies, frogs, and cicadas visible everywhere. Hundreds of Taiwan red pines, maple trees, and tung trees, all over forty years old, provide ample shade and a refreshing coolness. Here, you can enjoy freshly ground handmade coffee or herbal tea under the trees.
