In view of this, the Township Office applied for funding from the Council for Cultural Affairs and selected Zhongshan Hall and Zhongzheng Hall next to the Toufen Township Office for renovation, turning them into well-equipped performance venues in Toufen City. Zhongshan Hall is located in a densely populated area with convenient transportation. After renovation, its facilities are quite complete, with stages, sound systems, lighting, and air conditioning all at a considerable level. In particular, the stage was deepened and widened during the renovation to provide ample space for large performing groups to deliver perfect performances. Zhongzheng Hall was converted from a library. The first floor is a multi-functional exhibition area of about 100 ping, which can be used for exhibitions, conferences, and club activities. An average of two to three exhibitions are scheduled each month, making it an important cultural venue in Miaoli. After renovation, Zhongshan Hall and Zhongzheng Hall have become venues for various artistic and cultural performances, not only enriching the spiritual lives of Miaoli residents but also successfully bringing culture into people's lives.
