Today, these sounds have fallen silent, leaving only the laughter of tourists who come here to reminisce about past glories. This is the Shiliufen Cultural Hall on Sanyi's Old Mountain Line, also known by its resounding name, Shengxing Station. Designed and built by the Japanese, Shengxing Station, upon close observation, reveals beams and pillars with shapes resembling the Bagua and spearheads, and a sawtooth pattern on the eaves, making it very unique. It is said that these designs consider Feng Shui. As Shengxing Station is surrounded by the nine peaks of Guandao Mountain, resembling tiger heads, designs incorporating symbols of weaponry were used to ward off evil spirits and appease the nine tigers, seeking peace. Regardless of the truth of the Feng Shui theory, it sets this station apart from others in style. Since its completion, Shengxing Station has withstood several major earthquakes and remains intact. It has now been designated as a Class III Historic Site by the county. The station's ticket counter, waiting benches, railings, and other items still retain their appearance from the Japanese colonial era. The station office preserves the scene from before its service was suspended, exuding a strong sense of antiquity. The station preserves many items from the Taiwan Railways Administration.
