To actively preserve and promote Atayal culture, our county has specially planned and established the 'Atayal Indigenous Culture and Industry Park,' covering an area of approximately 1.67 hectares. It combines the tourism resources of the Tai'an Hot Spring area with Atayal culture, featuring a cultural museum, parking lot, hot spring experience area, and more. The Atayal Cultural Museum displays information on the distribution and migration of Tai'an Township's tribes, introductions and photos of local Atayal cultural festivals, as well as exhibits of artifacts such as wood carvings, rattan crafts, woven textiles, and mouth harps. It also includes a night forest experience area and a traditional bamboo dwelling area, allowing visitors to participate and experience firsthand. With lively and engaging guided tours, it aims to enhance the public's knowledge of ethnic education and broaden their ethnic perspectives. In addition to static displays, the outdoor area features a hot spring experience zone, weekend cultural performances, and vendor stalls, allowing visitors to enjoy indigenous song and dance performances and tribal cuisine. Through effective management, it is hoped that this will drive the development of indigenous cultural tourism, pass on traditional Atayal culture, showcase the rich cultural elements and tourism resources of the indigenous peoples, and provide recreational opportunities for visitors, thereby boosting the development of tourism in the indigenous areas.
