Huashan Rock Temple. In the twelfth year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1747 AD), believers from Baishakeng proposed the construction of a Buddhist temple to venerate Guanyin Bodhisattva. Believer Lai Feng-gao donated land, enabling its construction and making Huashan Rock Temple one of the three great temples of Changhua during the Qing Dynasty.
