Cherishing wood and valuing materials with the concept of environmental recycling and reuse, he glues and presses wood blocks, then uses lathe technology and the principle of bearings to combine the beauty of wood colors, creating a series of amazing marquetry crafts. He transformed the precision and standardization pursued in wood molds into artistic creations of practical crafts, adding exquisite design of wood colors. Through long-term dedication and research, Huang Wen-bin has honed his excellent skills and won numerous awards, including: the 5th Ten Outstanding Technical Models (Golden Skill Award), the 4th Huangxi Art Exhibition Award of Excellence, the 12th Taiwan Craft Design Competition Selection, the 2008 Taiwan Craft Competition Selection, and the 2015 Taiwan International Wood Sculpture Competition Selection. In 2020, Huang Wen-bin was selected as a Taiwan Craft Master. The "Jing Ping Mei Wood Craft Studio" exhibits meticulously calculated and precise angles, and perfectly and carefully designed plans, completing exquisite marquetry works that showcase the exquisite craftsmanship of Jing Ping wood art. It elevates woodworking beyond mere carpentry to refined and ingenious craftsmanship, and by incorporating mechanisms, it becomes an innovative artistic vision.
