A festive, New Year-like atmosphere permeates the entire community. This was the "Huwei Rainbow Village Project" undertaken in 2012 by the Art Center of National Formosa University and the Huwei Township Office. Its purpose was "to hope that the energy of art can infect the community" and to revitalize the rural area through interaction between students and community residents. This painted wall, approximately 500 meters long, features mainly celebratory patterns, auspicious dragons, and lucky lions. During the creation process, it fostered a sense of community cohesion and awakened the long-dormant, hollow hearts of the people. Perhaps it's an unexpected delight; strolling along the avenue of the paper-cutting art walls, surprises can be found at every turn, uncovering ancient culture and art, all waiting for visitors to explore.
