As both a Baozheng and a sugar factory committee member, he left behind valuable documents, as well as images of the Cai family and early local life, serving as a testament to the changes in rural society and culture. These documents have become a true record of peasant life during the Japanese colonial era. The "Cai Qiutong Literary Museum" was inaugurated on April 18, 2023, the anniversary of Mr. Cai Qiutong's birthday. It is hoped that this opportunity will allow the public to gain a deeper understanding of Mr. Cai Qiutong's deeds and works, and to discover more local literary creations in Yunlin. The literary museum is located within Xinyi Elementary School. The school's location, Wukuai Village, is Mr. Cai Qiutong's hometown. He was a key contributor to the founding of Xinyi Elementary School, donating land in 1958 for its establishment. He deeply understood the importance of education for children and community development, thus the school grounds, school song, school emblem, and facilities of Xinyi Elementary School are all closely related to him.
