Located beside the Zhuchi Bridge on Provincial Highway No. 3, adjacent to the Puzi River, the park covers nearly 4 hectares and features diverse ecology, landscapes, and recreational facilities. The bamboo garden showcases over 80 precious bamboo species from both domestic and international origins, making it unique in the country. Zhuchi Riverside Park is planned with areas such as an art plaza, water play facilities, a multi-purpose lawn, a riverbank trail, a pebble play area, a stepped plaza, and a shaded walking area. Vehicles are prohibited within the park, allowing visitors to enjoy recreation free from the hustle and bustle. This multi-functional riverside park not only allows people to get close to the Puzi River but also offers opportunities for water viewing, fishing, bird watching, enjoying scenery, playing and running, frisbee throwing, kite flying, and croquet. The static display area features an old locomotive from Forest Railway No. 32 for public viewing, making it suitable for family outings. At the park entrance, over ten Pink Trumpet Trees are planted. This tropical plant, native to Central and South America, is also known as Ipe or Yellow Trumpet Tree. When its flowers are in full bloom, they resemble a radiant sun, hence the name "Sun Tree." Every March, as spring arrives, the tree sheds all its leaves and bursts into a profusion of yellow flowers, creating a breathtaking sight that often captures the attention of passersby, leaving them amazed.
