The entire area is covered with subtropical broad-leaved forests, lushly growing along the banks of the Shilong River. The park's ecological resources are diverse and rich, with common plants including various ground cover plants, as well as ferns, Alocasia, Cyathea, Paulownia, Mahogany, Camphor trees, Banyan trees... Endangered species such as Crested Serpent Eagle, Blue Whistling Thrush, and Barbet are also commonly seen... all of which can be observed along the mountain trails.
