This type of public building provides practical needs for official business, while cultural centers are places for spiritual sustenance. In this agricultural town with a rich cultural atmosphere, the Xikou Township Library was an important provider of cultural resources. However, due to the problem of limited space, there was a proposal for renovation. Starting from the transformation of the library's function, giving it diverse and composite cultural possibilities, the Xikou Township Cultural and Life Center, located next to Xikou Elementary School, began construction in 2005 and was completed on December 28, 2007. It is the new treasure of Xikou Township.
