Budai Yacht Harbor. Budai Yacht Harbor is located in the coastal area west of Budai Township, Chiayi County, north of the first phase of land reclamation in Budai Township, adjacent to Budai Domestic Commercial Port to the southwest. Budai Yacht Harbor is located in the coastal area west of Budai Township, Chiayi County, north of the first phase of land reclamation in Budai Township, adjacent to Budai Domestic Commercial Port to the southwest, and separated from Budai Third Fishing Harbor by a 60-meter channel to the northeast, collectively known as the Budai Three Harbors. Budai Yacht Harbor currently has a harbor area of approximately 5 hectares and a land area of approximately 6.7 hectares, including a visitor service center, a landscape plaza, male and female restrooms, a yacht berthing and preparation area, and a parking lot. Budai Yacht Harbor opened in October 2009. To maximize the function of the yacht harbor, it is open to the public for recreation and leisure, and organizes related experience activities and water training activities to cultivate public interest in water recreation and enhance awareness of water recreation safety. To improve the quality and standard of recreational services at Budai Yacht Harbor, the BOT and ROT project for Budai Yacht Harbor was promoted. In November 2017, Taiwan Princess Yachts Co., Ltd. obtained the operating rights for 35 years. The first phase involved an investment of over 40 million NT dollars to complete the renovation of buildings such as the visitor service center, merchandise exhibition center, and service clubhouse, as well as the beautification of the harbor area, presenting a brand-new look. Current operating items include floating docks, quay berth rentals, land-based berth rentals, powerboat training classes, yacht agency sales, management, and maintenance.
