Dahu Jianshan Trail. Dahu Summit, also known as Jiandongzi Mountain, stands at an elevation of 1357 meters. It lacks a benchmark at its summit and is considered the foremost of the "Three Peaks and Four Freezes" in Chiayi County. It is located in Dahu Village, Fanlu Township, Chiayi County. It is located 2 kilometers northeast of Dahu Village, Fanlu Township, Chiayi County, bordering Jiadongzi in Guanghua Village, Zhuzhi Township, to the east. To the northwest of Dahu Peak lies Hongcai Ridge, extending north to Baiyanling, which connects to Sitianwang Mountain in Shuishiliao. To the southwest, Bantianyán and Sanbao Mountain are arranged in a north-south line. Surrounded by numerous mountains, it offers a magnificent panorama. The Bazhang River meanders at its foot. This excursion begins from the roadside near Huoshaoliao, located in Dahu Village, where a large sign reads "Jianshan Hiking Trail." Entering the mountain from here, one can reach the summit in approximately 3 hours. Dahu Peak is renowned in the southern mountaineering community for its tall, prominent ridge, majestic and spectacular scenery, and thrilling climbing routes. Its summit offers excellent panoramic views with ever-changing vistas, sometimes shrouded in layers of mist and clouds, other times illuminated by a sky full of colorful light. It is a peak well worth the climb.
