The main hall contains an ancestral shrine with ancestral tablets. It is inscribed that the ancestors came from Qingling Village, Heping County, Zhangzhou Prefecture. In front of the altar, the hall name "Lushan Yanpai" of the He family is written. The couplet on the front porch columns reads "May our roots be deep and our branches long, for generations to come; may our offerings be pure and our sacrifices eternal." The structural body and painted parts of the building are well-preserved. The roof frame of the He residence is a common dougong (interlocking wooden brackets) structure in the plains of Chiayi, adopting a twelve-frame six-gu style, which holds symbolic significance for the era. Therefore, it has been registered as a historical building of this county.
