Beinan Cultural Park is a park that features prehistoric culture, indigenous culture, and natural landscapes. Its open environment and museum, where archaeological work continues alongside exhibition and preservation, are its most distinctive features. Visitors can learn about the Beinan site and culture in the exhibition hall; view the thousand-year-old site and remains at the archaeological excavation site and the crescent-shaped stone pillars; or overlook the park's surroundings from the observation decks on either side of the park. If lucky, you might even witness archaeological excavations in progress. The outdoor environment recreates prehistoric houses at a 1:1 scale, as well as the traditional meeting houses and dwellings of the Puyuma people. The park is also an open green space, making it a great place for visitors to relax and for the public to enjoy leisure activities.
