Nanliao Fishing Harbor is recognized as the premier viewing spot for underwater scenery, hailed as an "underwater park." With stable currents and moderate depths, it is one of Green Island's most popular diving spots. During low tide, a stretch of vibrant green sea lettuce is exposed, its color dazzlingly fresh. Crustaceans and fish are very common in the tide pools and reefs, often attracting seabirds for foraging, making it a prime bird-watching location and the best place for snorkeling.
