Under the promotion of the Taitung County Government, Jinzun Fishing Harbor has been the venue for the "Taiwan Open of Surfing" since 2011. It is not only a representative international surfing competition in Taiwan but also an internationally recognized event by the World Surf League, attracting not only surfing enthusiasts from all over Taiwan but also many top international athletes to compete in Taiwan.
