Taduo Station, located near the Southern Cross-Island Highway, was originally the site of the Paiwan indigenous "Daladalan" community. During the Japanese colonial era, it was renamed "Dodoran," and after the construction of the South-Link Railway, the name was simplified to "Taduo." Although train stops were discontinued in 2006 due to low passenger numbers, Taduo Station is still renowned as Taiwan's most beautiful station for its superb geographical scenery, nestled between mountains and facing the sea.
