Green Island is an island formed by volcanic activity. The eastern part of the island is speculated by scholars to have once had a caldera, leaving behind not only volcanic neck remnants, but also a series of surrounding geological landscapes due to varying degrees of wind erosion on the crater walls. Looking out from the Small Great Wall at Sea Cucumber Bay, there is a geological formation resembling a reclining pug in the sea, known as "Pug Rock." It is paired with the Sleeping Beauty Rock next to it, collectively called "Sleeping Beauty and Pug."
