The original shrine buildings were demolished after World War II, leaving only the foundation. Although it was also planned for demolition, local residents began actively advocating for the preservation of local history in 2013. Finally, a master specializing in shrine restoration was invited from Japan, who worked with Taiwanese carpenters to rebuild the shrine on its original site. Standing on the plain, the shrine, with the surrounding farmland and hills as its backdrop, creates a tranquil and verdant historical landscape.
