Located next to Chishang Train Station, the Chishang Rice Barn Art Museum is a 60-year-old granary provided by Mr. Liang Zhengxian, renovated by Professor Chen Guanhua of Yuan Ze University and his students over a year. During the renovation, they delved into local life in Chishang, consolidating everyone's memories of the area, and reinterpreting the local spirit and aesthetics. After its opening, it won the grand prize and owner's award in the 2019 Far East Architecture Award – Special Award for Old House Renovation. The museum irregularly hosts flat and multimedia art exhibitions, and invites domestic and international art masters to hold lectures, making it not only a memorial hall preserving local memories but also an important cultural and artistic base connecting local culture with domestic and international art trends.
