Starting from Guangzhao Feng Farm on Provincial Highway 9, the Fenglin Bicycle Trail follows a small path through layers of fields, then turns onto Fuxing Road towards Fenglin Township. You will pass by traditional tobacco buildings such as Liao Kuai Tobacco Barn and Lin Jin Cheng Tobacco Barn. Eastern Taiwan has a significant Hakka population, and Fenglin is one of the largest Hakka settlements in Eastern Taiwan. Tobacco barns are representative buildings in Hakka culture, and some have now been converted into restaurants and guesthouses, giving new value to the memories of the old era. The Principal's Dream Factory in front of Fenglin Station brings together the dreams of over 80 principals and many teachers from Fenglin over the years, hoping to create a "living classroom" to supplement the shortcomings of school education. The Japanese-style official residences remain active due to the infusion of dreams. After circling the train station, return to Provincial Highway 9 along the bicycle path. With vast fields in sight and green mountains in the distance, you will conclude a cycling trip full of culture and nature. The total length is about 24 kilometers.
