The North Lakeside Park is often a gathering place for cyclists to discuss the beautiful scenery of Hualien and share cycling experiences, making it a must-visit spot for cycling enthusiasts. Alternatively, rent a pedal boat to tour the lake. Next, head to the food district. Liyu Lake boasts abundant, fresh, and delicious aquatic products, offering a feast for your palate. After replenishing your energy, visit the Aquatic Products Research Institute to explore the Fishery Museum and the Lake Ecosystem Area, learning about the development of Taiwan's fisheries. From here, you can continue along the lakeside path to circle the lake, or turn towards Baobai River for a completely different mountain scenery, bringing your Liyu Lake cycling tour to a perfect close.
