The coastal bicycle path refers to cycling from Nanbin Park or Beibin Park in the coastal area of Hualien City along the coastal road to Qixingtan Scenic Area. The bicycle path section in Qixingtan can be said to begin at "Deyan Coastal Botanical Garden," entering Qixingtan Scenic Area, and then heading south to ascend to 48 Highland via wooden stairs. Along the way, you can enjoy the boundless scenery of the Pacific Ocean, occasionally stopping at pavilions to rest. Interpretive signs are also set up along the path, allowing you to learn about the rich local natural ecology and native plant knowledge. For those without bicycles, you can rent one nearby at the Qixingtan Bicycle Rental Service next to the Qixingtan Visitor Center, which also provides Hualien travel information and regularly hosts events.
