Nearby the observation deck is the Siba High-Altitude Combat Tunnel, which has recently been renovated and opened for visits. The underground combat tunnel at Siba High-Altitude once served the strategic purpose of monitoring enemy ships from the high ground. It has been preserved in its original design and now offers visitors a view of the Pacific Ocean. Due to visitor number restrictions, guided tours require advance booking.
