Sitting on the large rocks by the shore, you can gaze at the vast Pacific Ocean and the crescent-shaped "Hui Lan New Bay." Along the seawall, it connects to the bicycle paths of the two ponds. The park environment is clean, with planned seating for pedestrians. It is expansive, and combined with Hualien's good air, it is a great leisure spot for the public on both holidays and weekdays. The park features a Roman-style central plaza, with parking and public restrooms, and areas like a children's playground. The overall planning is also convenient, with accessible facilities for the elderly. The North Bay Section boasts large 3D painted installations, including a "Carp Leaping Over the Dragon Gate" installation at the entrance, ocean-themed 3D hand-painted murals, and extreme sports and beach volleyball courts, which are very popular with young people. Both are great places for family outings. Pacific Park occasionally hosts holiday markets or cultural performances. Activities are lively in the morning and evening; during the day, you can cycle or stroll, and at night, it's a spot for listening to the waves and stargazing. The North Bay Section of Pacific Park, covering about 7 hectares, features the renowned North Bay Sunrise Beach Park, as well as the "Carp Leaping Over the Dragon Gate" entrance sculpture combined with 3D paintings.
