The Keelung Art Museum, formerly the "Keelung Public Hall" built in 1903 during the Japanese colonial era, is not only Taiwan's first cultural center. Today, the Keelung City Cultural Affairs Bureau is a multi-functional cultural venue and a hub for Keelung's arts and cultural promotion. It includes a modern art museum space, a family education service center, a historical artifacts exhibition room, a performance center, and the Keelung Story Cafe.
