The architecture is mainly in the Chinese style, with some decorative patterns adopting Baroque architectural style. In the early days, Keelung Inner Harbor could be seen to the north of the inner courtyard. Due to factors such as disrepair and weathering erosion over the years, only wall remnants remain today. -Attraction Features- Mr. Xu Zisang was the head of the Keelung District during the Japanese colonial period. In his later years, he built a two-story traditional courtyard house named "Qingyu Hall" on the mountainside of Yutian Village, and "Qun Garden" behind it, with a forested slope at the rear. This old house blends Chinese and Baroque styles, showcasing the unique architectural aesthetics of the time. Today, walking to the site of the old house, one can still see the traces of Chinese-style bamboo-joint round windows, telling of its past glory. However, the building has long been eroded by weathering, leaving only mottled walls. Please pay attention to the surrounding environment when visiting and quietly feel the traces left by history. -Nearby Recommendations- After leaving Xu Zisang Old House, you can head to Miaokou Night Market to savor local Keelung delicacies, making it a perfect end to your Keelung trip.
