You'll feel the cool temperature and observe the natural sea-eroded cave scenery along the way. Buddha Hand Cave is named for a natural rock formation on the ceiling deep inside the cave that resembles a palm, with clearly defined finger lines, looking remarkably like the hand of Buddha. The natural sea-eroded landscape of Buddha Hand Cave is very well-preserved. It was formerly known as Bat Cave due to bats inhabiting it and is a natural sea-eroded cave. During the Japanese colonial period, it was also used as an air-raid shelter. Today, it has been developed into a cultural landscape area with lighting, making it very suitable for fun family adventures. You can simultaneously appreciate the natural wonder and understand its unique historical background.
-Attraction Features-Buddha Hand Cave has several different passages. Walking through the cave passages is like entering an ancient adventure game, leading to different grottoes.
