The Jiangziliaoshan Trail is approximately 1.67 kilometers long, offering beautiful scenery. The summit boasts a vast panorama, providing unobstructed views of both distant mountains and nearby landscapes, making it a popular route for many hiking enthusiasts.

After traversing a shaded forest path, the scenery opens up dramatically. In autumn, the silvergrass lining both sides of the trail sways in the wind. As a gentle breeze sweeps over the mountain, the silvergrass dances like waves, making it a renowned spot for admiring eulalia. The trail features alternating gentle and steep slopes. Once you conquer the final 200-meter "Hero's Slope" before the summit, you can stand atop the mountain and take in the magnificent views in all directions. The Jiangziliaoshan Trail is very suitable for family outings. With its well-maintained facilities, it's an ideal choice for beginner hikers. The scenery along the way is diverse. The summit is equipped with four observation decks facing east, south, west, and north, offering views of the Taipei Basin, the mountain towns of Pingxi, and layers of peaks. On clear days, you can even see Taipei 101 and Keelung Islet in the sea, providing a vast and refreshing vista.

Parts of the Jiangziliaoshan Trail are exposed to the sun. It is recommended to visit in the morning to avoid the hottest part of the day. The round trip to the summit takes about 2 hours, depending on individual pace and stamina.
