With a strong Japanese style, it transformed from a disused space. Originally warehouses 3-5 of the Hsinchu Station built by Taiwan Railways in 1941, registered as a historical building in 2015. With a strong Japanese style, it transformed from a disused space into a contemporary art and cultural space, embodying the historical significance of the old warehouses. The Hsinchu City Government established the "Railway Art Village" in 2001 and reopened it after renovations in 2004. Over the past decade, it has supported over a hundred outstanding resident artists. The venue is divided into areas such as the main exhibition hall, gift shop, train-watching platform, multi-functional classroom, resident artist studios, and a children's reading area.
