In May 2018, the 'Long'en Canal Landscape Space' was officially completed. The Hsinchu City Government utilized the ancient canal waterway and the surrounding old trees to create elevated green spaces, dense forests, and park playgrounds in sections, connecting Central Park, Sanmin Park, and Sanmin Junior High School from north to south. The canal banks connect to streets and alleys, forming a 770-meter-long super urban green corridor.
