This time, we're sharing must-visit spots at National Tsing Hua University! To commemorate the first president of National Tsing Hua University, Mei Yi-chi, there is a "Plum Garden" within the campus, located on the hill behind the campus. The Plum Garden is planted with plum trees. When the plum blossoms are in full bloom, it always attracts many people to admire the plum blossoms, or to take a leisurely walk to the Plum Garden and rest in the pavilion, which is incredibly cooling under the shade of the trees. And within National Tsing Hua University, there is a secret passage that allows you to travel between Tsing Hua and Chiao Tung in one second. This path is still controversial – is it called the Tsing-Chiao Path? Or the Chiao-Tsing Path? Students from both universities have their own explanations, resulting in the "Tsing-Chiao Path" from National Tsing Hua University towards Chiao Tung University, and the "Chiao-Tsing Path" from Chiao Tung University towards National Tsing Hua University. The sight of two signposts standing side-by-side is very interesting. Near the South Gate of National Tsing Hua University on Baoshan Road, a giant "Bauhinia Leaf" artwork stands tall on a grassland. The rusty leaves oxidize over time, blending better with the landscape. Many people take photos here as souvenirs, capturing light and memories. Let me secretly share with you that this artwork is also affectionately called "Lung Slices" by students, and it does look quite similar from afar.
