A symbol of ancient Chinese Confucian culture, Confucian temples were a must-build in prefectural and county seats to represent Chinese culture. In front of the temple is the plaque for the Hall of Great Accomplishments. Inside, the main deity enshrined is Confucius, the Supreme Sage and Teacher, accompanied by the spirit tablets of his seventy-two disciples, including Yan Zi and Zi Si. The temple's decoration is simple and elegant, exuding solemn beauty. During sacrificial ceremonies, bells and drums chime in unison, accompanied by dance and music, with rituals performed in accordance with tradition, fully showcasing the excellent inheritance of Chinese culture. However, due to damage during the Japanese colonial era, few ancient artifacts remain. Only the "Record of the Reconstruction of the Confucian Temple" to the left of the Hall of Great Accomplishments, dating back to the 20th year of the Jiaqing reign, is the oldest surviving relic. The inscription is still relatively clear, but the stele is covered in moss due to its age.
