Evening Neon - Xingjia Suspension Bridge "Xingjia Suspension Bridge", as the name suggests, is a suspension bridge that passes through Chiayi City. It was built in 2007 to facilitate school commutes and travel for children and residents on both sides of the river. The bridge was funded and built by the nationally renowned He Mingde Charity Group, connecting Xing'an Village and Xingcun Village. Xingjia Suspension Bridge features a 3.1-kilometer bicycle path lined with Taiwan goldenrain trees. The south side boasts the Xingren section of the riverside sports park and water park. Additionally, the Xingcun section includes a riverside ecological trail, ecological gardens, and religious wood carvings at Cixuan Temple, all symbolizing the gradual formation of an ecological leisure space in the southern district of Chiayi City. Currently, the Chiayi City Government has installed night neon lighting on the bridge to boost local tourism. The bridge at night resembles a long, sparkling pearl necklace, exceptionally prominent and dazzling, becoming a beautiful landmark of the urban blue belt with its distinct nighttime charm.
