She is a recognized historical figure in Taiwan. The General Association of Chinese Culture has installed a 170 cm tall solid wood and copper relief at her former residence to honor her, and has published the book "Women's Footprints," featuring a wedding photo of Dr. Hsu Shih-hsien on the cover, affirming her significant contributions to healing people and serving the nation. The "Female Cultural Landmark" on the wall of Hsu Shih-hsien's former residence was designed and created by Wu Chuan, a female artist from Chiayi City. It is a 170 cm tall rectangular solid wood and copper relief. (Hsu Shih-hsien's former residence is a private dwelling and is not open to the public for visits.) The cypress wood material evokes the contemporary forestry industry associated with Hsu Shih-hsien, while the bead curtain above symbolizes the status of women. The lotus flower in the relief aims to honor Dr. Hsu's integrity in politics. The "Female Cultural Landmark" is one of 17 pioneering and historical women and women's activity spaces selected by the General Association of Chinese Culture to establish "Female Cultural Landmarks."
