The riverside bicycle path. The Shuangxi River, originating from Yangmingshan National Park, flows past Soochow University before turning north of the highway, where riverside green spaces begin to stretch out. Bicycle paths have been built along both banks, creating the most well-maintained, compact, and refined route in Taipei's riverside cycling network, closely integrated with residential areas. The scenic banks of the Shuangxi River offer urban dwellers, busy with their daily lives, a green tunnel to relieve their fatigue. Connecting from the left bank of the Shuangxi River to the right bank of Bailing Bridge's bike path, Bailing Bridge's right bank riverside park is a gathering place for rugby enthusiasts and often hosts football matches. Cyclists can also join this expanse of green grassland and pedal all the way to the underside of Chengde Bridge, making a detour to visit "Sanjiaodu," Taipei City's last sampan dock.
