After years of restoration and planning, Guizikeng Park has transformed into a diverse recreational area featuring unique geological landscapes, soil and water conservation education, mountain trails, and a free campsite, serving as the starting point of Taipei City's first mountain trail and an ideal destination for escaping the city and connecting with nature. Guizikeng Campsite Guizikeng Park offers free camping grounds (application required according to regulations), making it a popular choice for group activities and family outings. The park has two main campsites: 'Platform 100' and 'Platform 110'. 'Platform 100' is a campsite for RVs and features a semi-circular covered activity plaza. Besides serving as a morning activity space for local residents on weekdays, it is an ideal location for groups to hold outdoor events, picnics, or barbecues. The spacious area is also suitable for orienteering, stargazing, and even searching for fireflies during specific seasons. Soil and Water Conservation Education Park The park boasts Taipei City's oldest physical observation area of the 'Wuzhi Mountain Formation,' where exposed rock faces clearly showcase the stark contrast between the upper layer (igneous rocks from the Datun Volcanic Group eruption 800,000 years ago) and the lower layer (folded rock strata formed by orogeny).
