It's hard to miss its distinctive architectural design when you pass by – a stable gray trapezoidal building with colorful paintings on the entire glass facade and a stone pillar carved with indigenous totems standing tall in the center. It exudes a mysterious aura, as if by magic, inviting people to step into the brilliant world of Taiwan's indigenous peoples. The museum's collection is organized into four themes, detailing the distribution of Taiwan's indigenous tribes, as well as introductions to traditional daily life objects such as architecture, crafts, and hunting tools. It also showcases the beautiful traditional attire of each tribe and the most important ancestral spirit beliefs of the indigenous peoples. The museum also regularly hosts various related events and courses, allowing the public to experience indigenous culture in a more lively and relaxed way, and to appreciate their wisdom of life in revering ancestral spirits and coexisting with nature and mountains.
