Mr. Chen Shu-huo, the founder of Chang Chun Cotton Paper Mill, after decades of rooted operations, felt the regret that "paper, nurtured by Chinese culture, has not been promoted in modern times," and vowed to establish a paper museum. After 5 years of preparation, the Shu-Hu Memorial Paper Museum officially opened to the public in October 1995. The first floor is divided into a gift shop and a handmade paper demonstration factory. The gift shop sells various contemporary design-related products and occasionally launches themed products. The demonstration factory simulates the handmade paper manufacturing process for visitors to understand. The second floor is currently an exhibition space, accepting exhibition applications from all sectors. The third floor is a paper science experiment area where parents and children can learn about paper through interaction and sensory experiences. The fourth floor is a papermaking experience area where everyone can personally make a piece of paper to take home. This area also promotes recycled paper and environmental education, encouraging the conservation of Earth's resources.
