After the renovation and completion of the facility in 2003, the performance section was renamed "City Stage" and relaunched as a more professional and modern comprehensive theater, becoming a more suitable urban activity space. In addition to the main Social Education Hall on Bade Road, the Yanping Activity Center in Datong District, the Wenshan Branch in Wenshan District, and the Parent-Child Plaza in the City Hall building were added. This not only alleviated the capacity limitations of the main hall but also made it more convenient for more people to participate in social education activities. In 2014, in accordance with the revision of the Department of Cultural Affairs' organizational regulations, it was renamed "Taipei City Arts Promotion Office" and officially inaugurated on November 6, 2015.
