Standing here and gazing at the Guandu Plain, you will suddenly feel open-minded and relaxed. The architecture here is quite distinctive. The main temple resembles a spire, with a dragon coiled on top, giving it a very spiritual feel. The main deity of Zhaomingjing Temple is the "Four-Faced Thousand-Armed Guanyin," who blesses health, marriage, light, and wealth. It was formerly known as "Lovers' Temple" because it displayed wax figures of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl! The temple has very popular wish scrolls. Write down what you wish for on paper and wooden plaques, then worship the Four-Faced Thousand-Armed Guanyin and put the paper into the wish box next to Guanyin. Afterward, you come to the wishing pool. There are six bowls in the wishing pool, representing wishes for love, health, wealth, and so on. If you want something, bring some coins and throw them into the bowls, and hang the wooden plaques in the wishing pavilion nearby as a testament. It is said to be very effective, with blessings for those who worship! The wishing pavilion in the temple square reads, "True love is unseen, but heaven knows false love," to admonish lovers everywhere to cherish their feelings and not be insincere, hoping that all lovers in the world can become a good couple.
