From south to north, there are Grace Baptist Church, Truth Lutheran Church, Taipei Grand Mosque, Holy Family Catholic Church, Taipei Church, and Wesley Methodist Church, among others. Different religions are located on the same Xinsheng South Road, and each has its unique characteristics, making it worth visiting. Holy Family Catholic Church is located opposite Daan Forest Park. From above, it is shaped like a cross. At night, illuminated by lights, it emits a soft white glow, creating an atmosphere of nobility and purity that leads people towards God. The church is approximately 21 meters high, with no pillars, and features a tent-like structure that eliminates feelings of spatial oppression and visual obstruction. This architectural design is intended to help people quiet their minds, cultivate their spirits, and look upwards. It is an important place of worship for Catholics. Inside, the masterful use of stained glass and natural light creates a sacred and natural ambiance, as if entering a holy sanctuary that can cleanse the worldly troubles from one's heart. The 18 stained glass panels depicting biblical stories, with over a hundred years of history, are works by the renowned French artist Louis-Lévy from 1878. They were transported from Belgium to Taiwan in 1998. At the bottom of each stained glass panel, there is an explanation of the small biblical story, giving them significant religious, cultural, and artistic value, making them worth reading for their knowledge and appreciating for their beautiful art.
