This place still continues the style of the streets from the Qing Dynasty over a hundred years ago. Red brick walls, arched arcades, and carved window lattices present an elegant and simple beauty. The Bopiliao Historical Block is located next to Longshan Temple, at the intersection of Kangding Road, Guangzhou Street, and Kunming Street. The block preserves a fairly complete Qing Dynasty street layout and traditional Qing Dynasty shops. Its architectural spaces bear witness to the development of the Monga commercial district and possess unique historical culture and architectural features. The "Taipei City Local Culture Center," with the concept of integrated education and culture, uses this place as a ground for promoting local culture, combining school education with community culture. It plans various themed exhibitions, special exhibitions related to Bopiliao's history, and organizes educational activities to achieve the function of learning through entertainment. In recent years, the development of the Bopiliao block has expanded beyond promoting film culture, activities, and education to include high-quality artistic and cultural performances, becoming an entrance to a cultural experience platform. It is hoped that by connecting local characteristics, it will create the flow of stories and memories, giving this space more meaning.
