It is a branch of the Xingtian Temple on Minquan East Road in Taipei City, which is very popular among worshippers. However, its history predates the main temple in Taipei. The former TRA "Zhongyi Station" and the current MRT "Zhongyi Station" were named after their proximity to "Zhongyi Temple". "Guandi Temple Xingtian Temple", as it was formerly known to worshippers as the "Enzhu Gong Temple on Jiutai Street", was originally located near the current Shinsing Junior High School in Zhongshan District, Taipei City. "Guandi Temple Xingtian Temple" was very popular. Later, due to the temple site being designated for school use, the temple had to actively seek a new location for relocation. As a result, in 1956, a auspicious site was found on Gualao Mountain (now Zhongyi Mountain) in Beitou. Funded by Master Xuankong, the builder of the three Xingtian Temples, construction began and was completed on May 31, 1965, showcasing the grand structure of a three-hall temple. The Beitou Xingtian Temple covers an area of approximately 8 hectares. The temple buildings are magnificent. In addition to the attached library, the area is lush with flowers and trees, rich in natural ecology. Facilities such as walking paths, garden landscaping, rest pavilions, parking lots, and public restrooms are well-planned. It is also the starting point of the Zhongyi Mountain Hiking Trail planned by the city government. Ascending the stairs from the foot of the mountain, the first sight is a vast expanse of lush green grass, with garden landscaping.
